Donating good quality items can help raise money

Friday 11 January 2019

With an estimated 60 million unwanted gifts being given last Christmas* , Royal Surrey County Hospital Charity is asking the local community to consider donating any unwanted items to the charity.

Last year, an incredible £20,000 was raised thanks to donated items that were sold at our regular table top sales in the hospital.

If you're having a post-Christmas clear out, please consider donating good quality, clean second-hand and new items.

We accept donations of:

  • Unwanted new gifts
  • Fiction and non-fiction books
  • Children's books
  • Children's toys and games
  • Jigsaws
  • CDs
  • DVDs
  • New toiletries (seal intact)
  • Costume jewellery

We regret that due to hygiene and limited storage space, we can no longer accept clothing (including shoes), kitchenware, electrical items, and bric-a-brac.

Please bring your gifts to the fundraising office on level A of the hospital (in the estates corridor).
