The Payne Family This year is the 10 year anniversary of when our daughter Emma was diagnosed with Type 1 diabetes, at the age of 9. A day all of us as a family will not forget. She has and continues to inspire us all in how she has managed this disease during the last 10 years.
In recognition of this we, as a family, have decided to embark on a challenge to raise funds for Royal Surrey County Hospital Charity. All money raised will go to the Cedar Centre Diabetic Fund at the Royal Surrey Hospital, which has provided and continues to provide support to Emma and a number of diabetes patients on how to manage and live with diabetes.
On June 14th/15th we are aiming to walk non-stop and through the night, the 84 miles of Hadrian's Wall from Wallsend on the east coast of England to Bowness-on-Solway on the west coast. The money we hope to raise will go towards the fantastic work the Cedar Centre. Thank you for your kind donation and support. The Payne Family
