I'm raising money for Royal Surrey County Hospital Charity because I want to support frontline NHS staff in the fight against Covid-19. As a second year journalism student at University, I produced a radio report about the impact of COVID-19 on the mental health of NHS workers and it was through interviewing a Royal Surrey Hospital nurse that I realised the difficulties those working on the frontline of this pandemic have faced. By taking part in the Run Around The World for Royal Surrey event, my target is to run 100 miles over the month of March. This is simply my way to hopefully give back and to provide moral support to those who risks their lives everyday to keep people like me safe!

Donations to the emergency appeal could fund:
- Welfare packs for staff – which may include food packages, treats, and comfort packs for those having to stay overnight.
- Staff travel and accommodation – for those who need to stay close by or isolate from their families so they can keep working.
- Items that could help staff manage stress during this highly pressurised period.
- Tablets so that staff and patients can stay connected to family and loved ones at home.
By sharing this page to friends and family and across all social media, you would be encouraging donations and support to the people who need it most. So I simply ask, please help me in helping Royal Surrey County Hospital Charity.
Thank you!
