News Donate your unwanted Christmas gifts Donating good quality items can help raise money Friday 3 January 2020 With an estimated 60 million unwanted gifts being given at Christmas*, Royal Surrey County Hospital Charity is asking the local community to consider donating any unwanted items to the charity. Last year, over £19,000 was raised thanks to donated items that were sold at our regular tabletop sales in the hospital. If you're having a post-Christmas clear out, please consider donating good quality, clean second-hand and new items. We are currently accepting donations of: Unwanted new gifts Children's books Children's toys and games Jigsaws New toiletries (seal intact) Costume jewellery We regret that due to hygiene and limited storage space, we can no longer accept clothing (including shoes), kitchenware, electrical items, and bric-a-brac.
