Let's raise a cuppa

Thank you to everyone who raised a cuppa in celebration of our NHS on Friday (5 July). The money raised will make a big difference to premature or sick babies treated here at Royal Surrey and their families: we are extremely grateful for your support.

About the event

The humble cup of tea has a long and proud association with the NHS. Originally served to patients in traditional fine cups with saucers and side spoon, tea was considered an important aspect of patient satisfaction and recovery.

Tea brings us together.

So, on or around 5 July (whichever day suits you best), we're calling on the local community to get friends, family or colleagues together for a tea party to celebrate the NHS' birthday and raise vital funds to help transform local lives.

How can I take part?
